This update raises the bar for energy efficiency and environmental performance across the HVAC industry.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2614\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Key Regulatory Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2615\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The revised eco-design requirements focus on improving system performance and reducing emissions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seasonal Space Heating Energy Efficiency (SSHEE):<\/strong> <strong>Luminous plaque heaters:<\/strong> now required to meet <strong>90% efficiency<\/strong> (up from 85%) <strong>Radiant tube heaters:<\/strong> must now reach <strong>80% efficiency<\/strong> (up from 74%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emissions of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx):<\/strong> New cap at <strong>180 mg\/kWh<\/strong>, reduced from 200 mg\/kWh<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2617\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">These changes are significant and will impact product specification across all industrial, commercial, and hospitality heating projects in the EU.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2618\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>SRP\u00ae Ahead of the Standard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2619\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">At <strong>Superior Radiant Products (SRP\u00ae)<\/strong>, <strong>all <\/strong><a class=\"icZEwaEXFdsQkNEzPGPZvPcFXAEnhiburFinFQ \" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superiorradiant.com\/eu\/products\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\"><strong>our radiant tube and luminous heaters<\/strong><\/a><strong> are fully compliant<\/strong> with the latest ErP requirements. Each product manual includes published <strong>SSHEE values and NO\u2093 emission levels<\/strong>, making compliance verification straightforward.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2620\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>A Note to HVAC Professionals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2621\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">We strongly encourage engineers, specifiers, and HVAC consultants to <strong>verify the efficiency and emissions data<\/strong> of any heater being considered for projects within the EU. Products that do not meet the new thresholds may not be legally sold after July 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2622\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Per the regulation, <strong>efficiency values must be clearly displayed in both the product manual and on the manufacturer\u2019s website<\/strong>.
