  • Can I reduce my minimum clearances to combustible materials?

Bottom Shields are approved for all burner sizes. The below clearance (dimension C in Clearance Tables) may be reduced by 25% when an approved Bottom Shield is used.

Reduced clearances downstream from the burner are approved for all configurations. Dimensions B, C, and D in the Clearance Tables can be reduced for locations 25’ (7.6 m) or more downstream from a burner, the maximum reduction is 50%.

Please note: The stated minimum clearance to combustibles represents a surface temperature of 90°F (50°C) above room temperature. Building materials with low heat tolerance (i.e. plastics, vinyl siding, canvas, tri-ply, etc.) may be subject to degradation at lower temperatures.

The length of time that the ignitor will spark and the gas valve will remain open to establish flame.

  • What is an inter-purge?

The burner will exhaust any contaminants between trials for ignition time periods.

  • What is post-purging?

The burner will exhaust any flue gases from the system after the call for heat has ended. The post-purge will only occur when using a 24VAC or low-voltage thermostat.

Module Error Codes

Other

  • How to hang the heater at a 45-degree angle?
